Visitors to the United States must have a valid passport and a visa. The conference organizers can provide a Visa Letter of Invitation to those who need a visa to attend the conference. Please read the information below carefully.
A visa is required for citizens of countries that do not participate in the Visa Waiver Program. Information about the Visa Waiver Program, including a list of participating countries and program requirements, can be found on the U.S. Department of State’s website. Travelers using the Visa Waiver Program must also have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval before they travel.
The most appropriate Visa type to attend a scientific conference is a Business (B-1) Visa.
Those who require a Visa should allow six (6) months for their Visa to be approved.
