Lifetime Awards
- Three awards have been established to promote and recognize significant contributions for the advancement of knowledge in Fiber Optic Sensing/Photonics.
Best Paper Award
- To honor two researchers who have significantly contributed to the development of this area of human knowledge.
Best Student Paper Award
- For the best paper submitted to the conference.
Best student paper in each of the four following categories:
- Physical and Mechanical Sensors
- Chemical, Environmental, Biomechanical, and Medical Sensors
- Electromagnetic, Interferometric, Polarimetric, New Concepts
- Distributed, Multiplexing, System Applications, and Field Trials
Informal awards may also be given.
