The International Conference on Optical Fiber Sensors (OFS) is the leading international conference on concepts, innovations, developments and applications on fiber optics-based sensing together with related photonic principles and technologies.
The first OFS conference was held in 1983 in London and has been held every 18 months (with an interruption in 2022 due to the pandemic), rotating between Europe, the Americas and Asia.
For OFS30, we are pleased to welcome you to Raleigh, North Carolina, for this engaging conference. OFS offers a highly collaborative environment with plenary and invited talks, contributed oral and poster presentations, workshops, and exhibitions of commercial products. Social and cultural events will also take place to foster networking among the participants.
The program will include tutorials and workshops on rapidly developing topics in fiber optic sensing, followed by 3 1/2 days of plenary and invited talks. Several poster sessions will be spread throughout the week, as well as a technical exhibition showcasing companies and institutions and their technologies related to fiber optic sensing. A welcome reception and gala dinner headline the social program.
